Jonathan Alexander, MD

Dr. Jonathan Alexander is a board-certified cardiologist who has been practicing for more than 42 years. He provides personalized care, carefully taking patients through the diagnosis, use of appropriate testing and treatment of a wide variety of cardiovascular disorders. Dr. Alexander has particular expertise in nuclear cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation and the emerging field of cardio-oncology. He prides himself on his ability to communicate complex medical concepts clearly and compassionately. Dr. Alexander founded the Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and served as its first Governor and President. He is an avid baseball fan and enjoys playing tennis, travelling and reading. He and his wife enjoy time spent with family, including their four grandchildren.
